Nick Slaughter, a disgraced former Canadian Mountie and DEA agent, moves to the tropical island paradise of Key Mariah. Once there, he starts his own private detective agency and meets Sylvie Girard, a spunky redhead and local travel agent. Together, they form a strong partnership and quite the detective team.
